LOCAL LAW-Eliminating the Master Plumber 51 Percent Business
Ownership Requirement
Guests: Dept. of Consumer Protection: James Maisano, Director; Law Dept.: Jason
Whitehead, Associate County Attorney
Mr. Maisano requested that the committee go into executive session to discuss issues that
deal with the identity of a law enforcement agent, proposed or pending litigation, and ethical
issues regarding members of the Plumbing Board.
With a motion by Legislator Nolan seconded by Legislator Barr, the committee voted
unanimously to go into executive session at 1:17 PM. With a motion by Legislator Nolan
seconded by Legislator Clements, the committee voted unanimously to come out of executive
session at 1:24 PM.
On motion of Legislator Nolan, seconded by Legislator Clements, the above item was signed
by committee and referred to Board of Legislators. The motion carried by the following vote:
