AN ACT authorizing the County of Westchester to enter into a Regional Partnership  
Agreement with Dutchess County and Putnam County in order to receive funding from the  
New York State Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services under FY2023  
Hazardous Materials Grant Program.

This item was discussed with item #3. Westchester County seeks legislation for a regional  
partnership with Dutchess and Hudson Counties in order to receive funding from the state  
hazardous materials grant program for fiscal years 2023 and 2024. The fiscal year 2023  
allocation is $122,500; fiscal year 2024 allocation is $44,981 due to federal budget cuts.  
Funding originates from the US Department of Homeland Security's State Homeland Security
