CALL TO ORDER
Please note: Meetings of the Board of Legislators and its committees are held at the
Michaelian Office Building, 148 Martine Avenue, 8th Floor, White Plains, New York, 10601,
and livestreamed via the WebEx video conferencing system. Legislators may participate in
person or via Webex. Members of the public may attend meetings in person at any of its
locations, or view the meeting and its video recording online on the Westchester County

With a quorum present, Chair Clements called the meeting to order at 10:36AM.

ArtsWestchester's new initiatives for grant applications

Chief Executive Officer Kathleen Reckling
Representatives from ArtsWestchester presented their new grant application initiatives for
community-based organizations. This new format will be launching in two weeks and will allow
for entities to apply for financial support so long as they fulfill certain requirements. They
provided a detailed overview which also included a budgeting scope of $1.025 Million
available for competitive regranting, $153,000 of which is earmarked for organizations based
in Yonkers and Mount Vernon, as well as funding request ranges, among other details. Award
notifications are expected to be sent out in June of 2026 and the contract period is expected to
be from July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027.
